DESN Is Moving

The Design Department has successfully relocated to its new space, marking a fresh chapter of creativity, learning, and collaboration. The move involved the careful transfer of desks, specialized machinery, and delicate models and projects. Faculty, staff and the professional move team worked together to ensure every piece—from 3D printers and laser cutters to sketchpads, compasses and prototypes—was transported safely. Our new location in the 4600 building—although temporary—will continue to provide students with outstanding resources tailored to our students’ design needs. This move is a step towards enhancing our workflow as well as strengthening the department’s ability to innovate, inspire, and grow in a dynamic environment built for the future of design. We look forward to seeing you in our new area soon!
