This summer, Professor Parker led an unforgettable study abroad program to Florence, Italy, accompanied by 22 students and fellow faculty member Professor Petri. For one month, students immersed themselves in the rich artistic and architectural heritage of the city while taking DESN 107: History of Western Architecture and ITAL 121: Italian Culture. From exploring iconic Renaissance landmarks to savoring Italy’s vibrant cuisine and culture, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
